Dear Cyber Friend in Christ,

Welcome to our parish family at Transfiguration Catholic Church.  We are delighted that you have found us and we hope that you will be pleased in coming to know us better.  We are an exciting and growing parish family of approximately 1,350 households, all intent upon becoming better disciples of the Lord.  Our community is diverse in its socio-economic make-up, which lends to an enriched parish life here at Transfiguration.

Through the active stewardship of our time, talents, skills, and resources, we are able to 'build up' one another, and to strengthen the community as members of the body of Christ.  Saint Paul reminds us in his letter to the Romans that "A body is made up of many parts, and each of them has its own use.  That's how it is with us. There are many of us, but we each are part of the body of Christ, as well as a part of one another. God has also given each of us different gifts to use" (Rm 12:4-6).

I would like to take this opportunity personally to invite visitors to come and worship with us on Sunday, and to consider being one with us as a member of the body of Christ -- the Church.  As you browse through our site, may God deepen love within your heart and may your life remain in light, truth, and increasing knowledge of God’s ways. On behalf of the blessed and dynamic Transfiguration Parish family, we resonate the words of Peter the apostle at the Transfiguration on Mount Tabor, "Lord, it is wonderful for us to be here!" (Mk 9:5).
