Gaming, I probably spend way too much time gaming. Whether it is online games like Quake I, II or III, Half-Life Team Fortress Classic or EverQuest, online gaming is something I enjoy. I will not spend much time dispensing strategy for online games. There are too many good sites out there that do a better job at it than I will have time for. I will post links to the sites I think are the best.
This section of my site will concentrate on my role-playing games. I will talk about the games I run and the characters, players and non-players, which I have active at this time. Something I just recently became involved in is a free-form role-playing game on a forum. The forum is the All Flesh Must Be Eaten role-playing game site @ http://www.allflesh.com/. It's a post-holocost game where the dead have re-animated and look to eat the living. Some might view it as a sick game, but it is just a game.
Anyway, I've been posting on this thread in the forum, which is more of a story really than a game, but I'm having a great time doing it. Let's me spend some time doing creative writing, something that I used to do a lot more when I was younger. Anyway, I'm compiling a time-line and character list on my site, and you can visit that section by clicking here.
At the moment, I am getting ready to run a new version of my GURPS Fantasy campaign, The Living Valley. All of the characters will be from the valley in this version of the campaign. The previous version I was running, was based in my world of Nocio, but I have decided to put the valley back into the world I had originally invisioned for it. I wanted to use the Nocio campaign world, for the world outside the valley, but the two campaigns really wouldn't work well together. So, I'm going to go back to the original idea behind the valley campaign.
If you are interested in the world of Nocio, you can check out my Nocio web pages on this site, by clicking here. I have a lot of information for the world on paper, but I'm going to be transferring it to online pages as well.
Another campaign I was running and hope to run again someday is my GURPS Space campaign, titled SpaceQuest. The title was a takeoff of my first GURPS Fantasy campaign, WizardQuest, which was a hold over title from a RuneQuest campaign I ran a number of years ago. Though the shape of the world has changed over the years, I am still using the same basic history of the world. The same goes for my SpaceQuest campaign. I had started that campaign out as a Traveller campaign, but changed it to GURPS Space when we started playing GURPS.
Information about the SpaceQuest campaign can be found in the Gurps Space section of the site here.
I was going to be starting a Champions campaign, but so far that looks like it will not be happening. The player who harrassed me the most to do this, has unfortunately had to leave the group. So running the campaign is no longer as big a priority. I still want to run the game, but I am not spending as much energy on developing it at this time. Hero Games has finally released their new Champions rules, so when I afford to spend the money, I'll pick them up. As soon as I get the rules, I'll be putting the campaign together.
I have recently gotten the inspiration to add a section devoted to the more funny/foolish things that players, to formally be referred to as Gaming Yahoos do while playing games. I find it very funny what the players come up with sometimes, so I would like to share my experiences with you. Also, if you have experiences that you would like to add, feel free to send them to me. I'll add them to the site as I get the chance. Click here to read the adventures of Gaming Yahoos.
Take a look around the site, I hope you'll like what you see. Also, if you want to check out other good sites for gaming, visit my links page by clicking on the Links button. The list is small at the moment, but it's growing all the time.
