RONNY ELLIOTT
Bass

Ronny Elliott came into the band for a very short time during 1969 following the departure of Frank Guidry.  Frank O'Keefe briefly moved to second lead guitar during this transitional period.  Elliott, who was actually working on the formation of another Tampa based band, Duckbutter, at the time, became involved through his association with producer Phil Gernhard right around the time of the "lost" Criteria recordings.
(see Outlaws 101: The Lost Recordings and More on The Lost Recordings)  His involvement is significant in that he was present at the recording of the 2nd of two unreleased Outlaws albums and tried in vain to get the album released after the producer canned it and was involved in getting the band booked to open some pretty big concerts at Curtis Hixon Hall during 1969.

His stay with the band was brief, as he went on with Duckbutter, but he did play a few gigs with the band, including a show in Orlando with "The Nightcrawlers" (Little Black Egg)

He still resides in Tampa, Florida and continues to play and record music.

Ronny has four CD's currently available on the Blue Heart Label, Ronny Elliott, Ronny Elliott & Loco Siempre, A Postcard From Jack and My Nerves Are Bad Tonight.
