The links here are of
interest for one reason or another to anyone interested in the Outlaws--some
of them are good ones, some not so good, but there may be a photo or something
there worth looking at. Some are just plain AWESOME!

Special Links of
Interest
Mama's
Pride Home Page great band from St Louis--played all over
Tampa and toured with the Outlaws --check out the last pic on their "photos"
page...love that marquis!
WLOF
Channel 95 Tribute Page Site by Dick Camnitz (aka Dick Shane,
Dick Shannon) who was a dj at WLOF in Orlando back in the old Orlando Youth
Center Outlaws days...
Bird's
Bands Player's List Site by Bob Cara of Casselberry with
a running list of people who played in the joints of the Orlando area during
the 70's and '80's--some of those folks go way back to the '60s --saw a
few familiar names on the list...interesting reading!
Live365.com
Internet radio--offers four "Southern Rock" stations...be sure to check
out "43 THE HAWK" out of Charlotte NC...I've listened to them all and this
one plays a lot of "not always played" stuff, including cuts off Hughie
Thomasson's "So Low" and includes some bands you don't always think of
when the label "Southern Rock" comes up (like the Black Crowes but the
music fits)
WORJ-FM
Orlando Tribute Page (defunct radio station)--note on their list of
"Friends" who made things possible at the station are included "The Outlaws",
Joe Lambusta and Charlie Brusco and "The Back Door" (there are photos of
the Outlaws at this club elsewhere on my website)
Gainesville
(FL) Bands Family Tree Interesting site showing who played
in what Gainesville based bands over the years. Some of it's a little
"off" because the bulk of the info is fan submitted (like POWER being listed
as a Gainesville band--it's a long walk from Winter Haven/Lakeland to Gainesville)
but it's interesting reading...just the list of names of the bands will
give you a laugh...
Triplearadio.com
(The Forest) This is actually a radio industry site for
AAA (Adult Album Alternative) radio stations, predominately Public Broadcasting
Non Commercial stations. The Forest is their "editorial" and commentary
section and the guy who writes this stuff is an old Orlando
A self described "post millennial pop culture theorist", his commentary
on the broadcasting industry and the government is sometimes biting and
other times satirically funny.
Thanks

This site is still trying
to do the impossible--turn back the hands of time, or at least freeze some
of the better stuff in your minds forever....
Some folks who have
contributed in one way or another thus far (whether they know it or not)
and deserve a big "thanks
for the memories", their good deeds, kind words and their help--
Herb Pino- original Outlaw,
the real "Man of the Hour", for the music and EVERYTHING-you're too funny!
Doris Pino for keepin'
Herb on the straight and narrow, weeding through the emails and ultimate
faith)
Evelyn Rivenbark Hughes
for the good and bad old days, 1967-1969 background and great old photos
Joe O (for the Henry Paul
interview, Outlaws tidbits and running the The Outlaws mailing list)
Tom G ( decent
website and some very important email addies)
Monte Yoho (a true "Knight"
of the King's Court--for inspiration, support and photos--the coffee's
on buddy!)
Dennis Daire (memories
of the old days in Clearwater and surviving them and for telling us where
Boots was)
Henry Paul (for ultimate
courage and integrity when it came to JB's story and some damn fine music)
Michael M (for ultimate
class-we've never forgotten what you did for J.B...there isn't thanks enough,
Mick)
Mama's
Pride, St. Louis Mo (for the music and the memories)
My husband Jeff (putting
up with living in a time warp and taking the cemetery photos)
Pat and Danny Liston (formerly
of Mama's Pride, for damn good
music and clarifying who owned the Flying V in some of Hughie's pics)
Joe Turek of the Z
Band (formerly of Mama's Pride)
for the memories and the CD! Thanks Joe!
Anne (a nice lady who helped
reunite me & Herb via Missing
in The USA Thanks BIG TIME Anne!)
Linda Hutto (for pictures
and helping locate Ben Bridges--man, you're GOOD!)
Kathy Young (for pictures
and stories and courage in the face of adversity)
Ronny Elliott (for remembering
names long forgotten and historical input-and the three CD's too buddy!)

sharp kid who listens to the Outlaws, Henry Paul Band and has a great Blackhawk
site)
