Frank William O'Keefe

Someone wrote me recently and asked why Frank didn't sing on the albums, assuming he couldn't.  I don't know why he didn't sing on the albums either--he sang a lot of the songs in the '67-71 version of the band.  Here's some oldies but goodies shots, a couple of which might dispell the myth that Frank couldn't sing.

1966 Concert Choir,  Largo High School.  Look at back row, 4th from the left and you'll see a very young Frank O'Keefe.

1967 Largo High Concert Choir--go to the third row, 3 in from the right and you'll find Frank.
Note that in order to be in this choir, one had to suffer through individual auditions and be selected for inclusion.

Here's Frank in 1967 as a member of the Jr. class at Largo High School
