Dedicated to the 60’s Gothic Soap Opera

In 1966 the world was introduced to a different type of soap opera, one that would in its run have ghosts, witches, vampires and werewolves among its characters.  I was hooked.  As the saying goes I ran home after school and watched every afternoon. My friends and I would act out scenes from the show and devour the paperback books based on the series (I still have my set).  It was an important part of my life, a solace, at a  time of turmoil and tragedy.  I had only my memories of the show until I found Dark Shadows again on the internet.  I read the dedication sites and newsgroups, watched the  reruns on the SciFi Channel and eventually attended my first Fest.  Since that time I have made many friends from across the country and even the world.

This site hosts my reviews  and thoughts of the Dark Shadows’ Festivals that I have attended and Gatherings with the Central Florida Dark Shadows Fan Club.  Also accompanying photos will be displayed as well as links to my favorite sites. I hope you will enjoy.
