Dress Code Policy

In the past, we have had problems with the attire of some of the children who have attended Summer Camp.  Please look over these regulations and send your child to Summer Camp wearing the appropriate clothing.

Girls:

  • No spaghetti strapped shirts or halter tops (tank tops are allowed if the strap is at least an inch wide)
  • No short shorts (if they are questionable to you, they are probably too short)
  • Shirts must cover the belly at all times (even when hanging up-side-down)
  • On swimming day, girls must wear clothing over their bathing suit unless we are at the pool swimming

Boys:

  • Shorts must be at the waist, not below the butt or with under-shorts hanging out
  • No foul or inappropriate sayings or pictures on t-shirts
  • Hats are allowed as long as they have appropriate logos
  • On swimming days, boys must wear their shirts unless we are at the pool

Both:

  • Please remember that on swimming days the children run around at Camp before we go to the pool.  Please send sneakers with your child if they choose to come in sandals.
  • Summer Camp T-shirts must be worn on all field trips. They can be purchased through Ms. Teresa during Summer Camp for $8.00
Please make sure that you put your child’s name on the tag of the shirt so that we can return to you if it was misplaced (since all of the shirts are the same).

If your child has been here before and you still have a Summer Camp t-shirt, you do not have to buy another one unless you might need a bigger size for your child.

These t-shirts are a very good way for our group to be recognized as a ‘group’ and for the staff to locate the children faster while on field trips

Please note:  If you send your child to Camp on a field trip day without the specified shirt, we will give your child one and you will need to pay for that shirt when you pick your child up that day.

    Thank you for your attention!

    Mrs. Teresa and the Staff
