Chuck and Paula Morton are your hosts at their two waterfront efficiency motels RIVER POINT LANDING
at 6004 Cortez Blvd. (CR 550, Weeki Wachee FL 34607 and our newer location dubbed WEEKI WACHEE
LANDING at 7300 Shoal Line Blvd, Weeki Wachee FL 34607.
RIVER POINT LANDING features over 500 feet of waterfront extending on a point out to the Mudd River and has canoes available for your use (kayaks are available by request); dock space is available if you bring a boat. Capt. Chuck's Sail Cruises also depart this location.
It' a great spot for fishermen, bird watchers and manatee lovers. Manatees frequent the waters in front
especially in the morning, frolicking in the spring just in front of the parking lot. Fishing is usually good
from the shoreline and in the nearby waters of the river. Free TV, local use phones, laundry facilities and boat use included.
WEEKI WACHEE LANDING offers somewhat larger rooms, but not as much outdoor room. There is a nice patio area,
fixed and floating dock with canoe & paddle boat available for your use (kayaks available by request). Located on fresh water about
200 yards off the Weeki Wachee River. There's a famous dive site, Hospital Hole, just as you get to the river;
it's 112 feet deep straight down with a cave that goes to 140 feet. It's for experienced divers only,
but we can arrange SCUBA dives and or certification for guests with a local dive shop/school.
It's easy to take a canoe trip up the river and float back down if you get tired before getting all the way up
to the spring area. It's private property in the attraction area and you're not allowed out of your boat there,
but there are plenty of small sandy beaches upriver that you can use. Cable TV, local use phones, laundry facilities and boat use included.
PLEASE - NO SMOKING inside! It is against State Law.
Florida has passed a law that makes all hotel/motel rooms NON SMOKING areas. You may smoke outside, but there will be a surcharge of $100 if you insist on smoking inside the rooms.
