Professional Interest:
Application of industrial systems and informatics to the health care profession. This includes activities related to error reduction and performance improvement. My specific research areas include the strategic use of data marts and data warehouses and the effect of work design on dispensing errors. This latter interest includes reviewing pharmacy practice in other countries and comparing their error rates and practice environment to that of the United States.
