Mutterholtz, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, France
Birthplace of Marie Marguerite Giesselbrecht and her ancestors. The Giesselbrechts have been in Mutterholtz since the 1760s and lived in a neighboring village Baldenheim since the 1680s or before. Church records of their lives are kept in the Archives at Strausbourg, France and were written in Old German Script.

mother of his first nine children.
Mary A. Conrad SCHIRCK
died in childbirth with
the birth of her ninth
child George in 1865.
Jacob Schirck,son of M. & M.A. Schirck was called Daniel Jacob in The Schirck Family History. He was one of Michael's sons who died at age 5.

Michael, son of M. & M. A. Schirck was another of Michael's sons. His tomb is on the left and Jacob's is on the right. Michael Schirck was named after his father. He died at at 15.

Hazel SCHIRCK CULBERTSON, daughter of George Schirck and granddaughter of Michael and Mary A. Schirck. Hazel SCHIRCK CULBERSTON'S home on Yankee Bush Hill. Hazel lived on Yankee Bush Hill until her death a few years ago.
